The School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh invites applications for admission to the MBA in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program for the batch 2025-27.
Eligibility
Application Category 1 (CAT Exempted Applicants):
- GN/OBC (CL)/EWS: Bachelor’s (min. 3 years) or Master’s (min. 2 years) with 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale) or 65% marks from CFTIs or Top 100 NIRF 2024 institutes (overall/engineering). Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD: Bachelor’s (min. 3 years) or Master’s (min. 2 years) with 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks from CFTIs or Top 100 NIRF 2024 institutes. Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.
Application Category 2 (Candidates with valid CAT 2024 Score):
- GN/OBC (CL)/EWS: Bachelor’s (min. 3 years) or Master’s (min. 2 years) with 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks. Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD: Bachelor’s (min. 3 years) or Master’s (min. 2 years) with 5.5 CGPA or 55% marks. Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.
- Foreign Applicants/NRIs: Must have a valid GMAT score (2024) and meet criteria equivalent to Application Category 2 (General). Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Category 1: Based on academic records and work experience.
- Category 2: Based on CAT score, academic records, and work experience.
- Foreign/NRI Applicants: Based on GMAT score, academic records, and work experience.
The selection process may include interviews (online/in-person) or other methods as determined by the selection committee.
Deadlines:

- Personal Interview/Group Discussion: March 2025
