Master in Dramatic Arts (Full-Time Residential Course)

Applications are invited for the Master of Dramatic Arts at Bhartendu Academy (Bhartendu Natya Akademi), which provides professional training in Acting, Direction, Designing, and Theatre Techniques.
Medium: Hindi & English
Eligibility:
- Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university. Candidates must have a good knowledge of Hindi & English and prior experience in performing seven plays along with a comprehensive study of Indian & Western plays.
- Age Limit: 20-30 years as of 01 July 2025. (Relaxation of five years for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.)
- Reservation: As per government norms.
Selection Process for Master of Dramatic Arts at Bhartendu Academy
- Admission is based on a preliminary written test and interview.
- Shortlisted candidates must attend a final selection workshop.
Fees & Facilities:
- Tuition & Hostel Fee: As per Academy’s rules.
- Seats Available: 20
- Facilities: Scholarship, hostel, Wi-Fi, library, etc.
Application Process:
- The admission form is available at the BNA office upon payment of ₹500/- (in cash or demand draft in favor of Director, Bhartendu Natya Akademi, Lucknow).
- Forms can also be downloaded from the website: www.bna.lko.in and submitted with online payment.
- Payments can be made via UPI, net banking, credit card, or UPI.
Important Dates:
- Last date for submission of application forms: 10 May 2025
- Written Test & Interview: 10, 11 & 12 June 2025 at Lucknow
- Final Selection Workshop: 13, 14 & 15 June 2025 at Academy Campus
Accommodation:
Candidates attending the final selection workshop will be provided accommodation on a modest sharing basis.
