B.E./B.Tech. Engineering Courses – 2025
The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Engineering Courses in Government and Private Engineering Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K for the academic session 2025-26. The selection will be conducted as per the rules and regulations under the J&K BOPEE Act, 2002, Reservation Act, 2004, and other applicable guidelines.
Important Dates
- Start of Online Applications: March 5, 2025
- Last Date to Apply: March 19, 2025
- Application Fee: ₹1000 (to be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking)
- Entrance Test Date: To be announced later
- Mode of Exam: Offline
Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum Marks Required:
- 45% for Open Merit & EWS candidates
- 40% for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OBC)
- Candidates must be domiciles of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
- Candidates appearing for their qualifying exam in 2025 can apply, but they must submit proof of qualification before the final selection list is issued.
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online at www.jkbopee.gov.in.
- Candidates must read the e-Information Brochure before applying.
- Incorrect or incomplete applications may be rejected.
Additional Information
- The entrance exam will be conducted at multiple centers in Jammu, Srinagar, Doda, Rajouri, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Leh, subject to feasibility.
- Sports category candidates must submit their certificates to the J&K Sports Council for evaluation before May 10, 2025.
- Candidates with multiple reserved categories can only claim benefits for one category.
- Admission to government/private institutions is subject to approval from the competent authority.
