Programme Overview
Indian Institute of Management Indore and Indian Institute of Technology Indore jointly offer a two-year interdisciplinary degree programme, Master of Science in Data Science and Management (MSDSM). The programme blends data science and management education, preparing graduates to meet the growing demand for leadership roles in data-driven industries.
The programme will be conducted online, ensuring minimal disruption to professional commitments, with selected on-campus immersion modules.
Eligibility
Qualifying Degree:
- First class degree in BTech/BE/BS/BPharm/BArch/BDes/BFTech/Four years BSc/MSc/MCA/MBA, or
- Equivalent degree with at least two courses in Mathematics and one course in Computer Programming at the qualifying degree level.
Qualifying Examination:
- Valid score in CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE/JAM obtained any time in the last three years, or
- DMAT (Data Science and Management Aptitude Test) to be conducted online and physically at IIT Indore on June 08, 2025.

Programme Structure
The MSDSM curriculum is divided into four semesters:
- Semesters 1 and 2: Foundation courses in Data Science and Management.

Students will experience learning through lectures, case discussions, simulations, group projects, and industry expert sessions.
Fee Structure
- Programme Fee: INR 12 lakhs (payable in instalments over two years)
