Important Update: Additional PGETA 2025 Test Announced | Date of Notice: 25.06.2025
The Council of Architecture has announced the conduct of an additional PGETA 2025 test on July 20, 2025, to provide another opportunity for eligible candidates seeking admission to the 2-year Postgraduate Architecture programmes (academic session 2025–2026) at COA-approved institutions.
- Registration for this additional test will close on July 15, 2025.
- Candidates may attempt PGETA a maximum of three times.
- For eligibility criteria and admission details, candidates are advised to refer to the PGETA 2025 Brochure below.
- The test is valid for admission to PG Architecture programs only at institutions approved by the Council of Architecture.
- The top 100 qualified candidates of PGETA 2025 will be eligible for scholarships for admission to PG programs at COA-approved institutions.
Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture for M.Arch Admissions (2025–26)

The Council of Architecture (CoA) invites online applications for the Post Graduate Entrance Test in Architecture (PGETA 2025), a national-level entrance examination for admission to 2-year M.Arch and allied postgraduate programmes offered by CoA-approved architectural institutions across India for the academic session 2025–2026. The test is mandatory for all admissions to CoA-recognized PG Architecture programmes.

PGETA 2025 will be conducted in more than 65 cities across India including: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Dehradun, Guwahati, and more.
Candidates may choose 3 preferences for test cities during application.
Scholarships
- Top 100 qualifying candidates to receive ₹25,000/year scholarship for both years of M.Arch (Total: ₹50,000)
- Must not be availing any other scholarship
- Selection and disbursal through CoA after verification by the institute
Result & Admission
- Results will be published in percentile format at www.pgeta.in
- Admissions to CoA-approved PG programmes will be conducted by individual institutes/counselling authorities using PGETA score
