NCHM JEE 2026 – Admission Notice for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration
The National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the three-year B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration programme offered by Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for the 2026–27 academic session.
About NTA and NCHMCT
The National Testing Agency (NTA), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, conducts transparent and standardised entrance examinations. NCHMCT functions under the Ministry of Tourism and regulates hospitality education in India through its affiliated Central, State, PSU, PPP, and private Institutes of Hotel Management.
Course Offered
Admission through NCHM JEE 2026 is for the B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration programme, a six-semester degree recognised by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), with a provision for a fourth-year Honours degree as per NEP 2020.

Mode of Examination
The examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Marking Scheme
Each correct answer carries four marks, while one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions carry no marks, and dropped questions are awarded full marks to all candidates.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a subject from a recognised board. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may apply provisionally, subject to submission of proof of passing by 30 September 2026. There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE 2026.
Reservation Policy
Reservation for Central Institutes is applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, General-EWS, and PwD candidates as per Government of India norms. State Government Institutes follow their respective state reservation policies. One supernumerary seat per Central Institute is reserved for wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits.
Provisions for Persons with Disabilities
PwD and benchmark disability candidates are provided reservation, compensatory time, and scribe facilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, subject to submission and verification of relevant certificates.
Choice of Examination Cities
Candidates must select four preferred cities while filling the online application form. Final allotment is subject to administrative feasibility and cannot be changed after the correction window.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online only through the official NTA website. The process includes registration, uploading of photograph, signature and certificates, and payment of examination fee. Multiple applications from the same candidate are not permitted.
Admit Card
Admit cards will be released online on the NTA website. Candidates must download and print the admit card and appear for the examination strictly as per the details mentioned on it.
Result and Counselling
Results will be declared on the official NTA website. Counselling and seat allotment for admission to affiliated Institutes will be conducted based on merit, eligibility, medical fitness, and document verification.
