Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025
Conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will conduct the computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on November 30, 2025 in three sessions. CAT is a national-level entrance test and serves as a prerequisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctoral programmes at IIMs and several other participating institutions.
The CAT 2025 scores will be accepted by all IIMs and numerous other institutions. However, non-IIM institutions that use CAT scores have no role in the test or selection process conducted by IIMs.

Eligibility
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria specified for the exam.
Please note: Meeting the eligibility criteria alone does not guarantee shortlisting by the IIMs. Each IIM may have its own shortlisting and selection process. Detailed eligibility criteria are available on the official CAT website.
Reservation policy
The reservation policy for various categories will follow Government of India regulations.
No change of category will be entertained after registration under any circumstances.
Registration fee
- ₹1300 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates
- ₹2600 for all other categories
The fee must be paid online at the time of registration.
Candidates are advised to verify their eligibility before paying the fee.
Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Test centres
CAT 2025 will be held in test centres located across approximately 170 cities in India.
Candidates will have the option to select any six test cities in order of preference during the application process.
Test city allotment is subject to availability and administrative reasons.
