Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi, a government-run tertiary care and postgraduate training institute in mental health and neurosciences, invites applications for M.Sc. Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing and Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (DPN) for the academic session 2025–26. M.Sc. Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing
- Duration: 2 Years (Full-time, 4 semesters)
- Affiliation: University of Delhi
- Intake: 8 Seats
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 15,000 (except in-service candidates)
Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (DPN)
- Duration: 1 Year (Full-time)
- Affiliation: Delhi Nursing Council
- Intake: 20 Seats
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 2,000 (except in-service candidates)

- Display of Eligible Candidates: 14 June 2025
- Entrance Exam: First Week of July 2025 (Date to be announced)
- Result Declaration: Within one week of the exam
- Counselling & Document Verification: 15–25 July 2025

Eligibility – IHBAS Nursing Admission 2025
M.Sc. Nursing:
- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)
- Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
- One-year work experience post-registration
- Medically fit and in possession of all original documents during counseling
DPN:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)
- One-year work experience after RN & RM registration
Application & Fee Details
- M.Sc. Nursing: Rs. 2000 (UR/OBC/EWS), Rs. 1000 (SC/ST)
- DPN: Rs. 500 (UR/OBC/EWS), Rs. 250 (SC/ST)

Selection Process
- Based on an entrance test conducted by Delhi University (for M.Sc.) and IHBAS/DNC (for DPN)
- Paper: 100 MCQs based on INC syllabus
- Minimum Cut-off: 50% (General), 45% (PwD), 40% (SC/ST)
- Admission is subject to medical fitness and original document verification
