Applications are invited for M.Tech programs under Category A (Regular) and Category B (Sponsored/Self-Financed) for the Autumn Semester (July 2025).

Category A (Regular – TA):
- GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (Engg.)/MCA with ≥66% marks or CPI ≥6.0 + valid GATE score.
- SC/ST/PwD: ≥55% marks or CPI ≥5.5 + valid GATE score.
- IIT B.Tech Graduates: CPI ≥8.0 exempted from GATE (interview/test required).
Category B (Sponsored/Self-Financed):
- Eligible Candidates: Armed Forces/PSU/Private employees with qualifying marks (as per Category A).
- Requirement: Valid GATE score OR 2 years of work experience (employer sponsorship mandatory).
- Excluded Disciplines: Electrical, CSE, Chemical, and Marine Science (no sponsored seats).
DATES & DEADLINES
- Last Date to Apply: April 28, 2025 (5:09 PM IST).
- Session Commencement: July 2025.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Apply Online: Visit IIT Goa Admissions Portal.
- Documents:
- Qualifying degree marksheets, GATE scorecard (if applicable).
- Category B: Sponsorship/NOC letter from employer (Appendix A/B format).

Note for IIT Goa M.Tech Programs 2025
- GATE cut-offs vary by discipline and category.
- No Teaching/Research Assistantship for Category B candidates.
