Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.Tech., M.S. (Research), and M.A. English (Literature and Linguistics) programs for the 2025-26 academic session.

- M.Tech Programs:
- Departments: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, Biosciences, Metallurgical Engineering, Astronomy, and more.
- Specializations: Communication & Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Advanced Manufacturing, Space Engineering, Biomedical Devices, Defence Technology, etc.
- M.S. (Research) Programs:
- Departments: Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Astronomy, Humanities & Social Sciences.
- Specializations: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Space Science, Humanities & Social Sciences.
- M.A. English (Literature and Linguistics):
- Focus on advanced studies in literature and linguistics.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Eligibility Criteria
- M.Tech/M.S. (Research):
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree/five-year integrated degree with first division in relevant disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Chemistry).
- Qualifying Exams:
- Indian Applicants: Valid GATE score (2023/2024/2025).
- International Applicants: GRE/TOEFL/IELTS, SOP, recommendation letters, and interview.
- M.A. English:
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanities (3/4 years) with first division.
- Qualifying Exams: GATE (XH-C2/C3) for Indian applicants; GRE/TOEFL/IELTS for international applicants.
Admission Categories
- Indian Applicants:
- TA (Teaching Assistantship): Full-time with stipend.
- SW (Sponsored): Industry/R&D-sponsored candidates.
- DF (Defence Forces): Applicants from defence organizations.
- International Applicants:
- ISF (Self-Financed), ISW (Sponsored), GSW (Govt. Sponsored).

- Application Fee:
- UR/OBC-NCL/EWS: ₹800 | SC/ST/PwD/Female: ₹400 (Non-refundable).
- Documents Required:
- Marksheets (10th, 12th, qualifying degree), GATE/GRE scorecard, category certificates (if applicable), sponsorship/NOC (for SW/DF).

SELECTION PROCESS
- M.Tech/M.S. (Research):
- Shortlisting based on GATE scores (for Indian applicants) or GRE/TOEFL/IELTS (for international applicants).
- Final selection through personal interview.
- M.A. English:
- Shortlisting via GATE (XH-C2/C3) or international equivalent, followed by interview.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Relaxation in Marks:
- UR/EWS/OBC-NCL: 60% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA.
- SC/ST/PwD: 55% aggregate or 5.5 CGPA.
- COAP Portal: GATE-qualified Indian applicants must register on COAP-2025 for admissions.
- International Applicants: Submit SOP, recommendation letters, and attend interview via video conferencing.
