About the Institute
Women Technical Institute (WTI), established in 1990 by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), offers job-oriented technical training exclusively for women. Located at Netaji Nagar, New Delhi, WTI is affiliated to the Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Music courses are affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.

Age Limit
For NDMC Women Technical Institute Admission 2025
- For all technical trades: Above 14 years (as on admission date)
- For Music: No age limit
Seat Reservation (As per earlier norms)
- Delhi School Pass-outs: 90%
- Other States: 9%
- J&K Migrants: 1%
- Within the above, reservation applies for:
- SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%, OBC: 15%, PH: 3%, Ex-servicemen/Paramilitary: 5%
- Sports/NCC/Education for all/Staff wards/Social Welfare inmates: 1% each
Fees (One-Time)
- Yearly Fee (All Trades except Music): Rs. 750/- (Rs. 500 refundable after passing the course)
- Music (as per Prayag Sangeet Samiti): Fees as per course year, starting at Rs. 60–100/6 months
- Registration Fee (all trades): Rs. 50/-
- Caution Money (refundable): Rs. 500/- (Rs. 200 for Music)
- Pupil Fund: Rs. 200/-
- Admission Fee for Music: Rs. 30/-
Course Duration
- All technical courses: 1 year
- Music and Dance: 6-year diploma/degree program
Application Process
- Mode: Offline (in-person)
- Submit photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, 2 photographs, Aadhar card, caste/medical certificates with originals for verification.
- Fill one form for up to 3 trades.
- Selection based on merit and availability of seats.
- In case of tie, elder candidate gets preference.
- Minimum attendance: 80% (mandatory for certification)
- Classes run Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Uniform & Attendance
- Uniform: Navy blue pant and jacket with mustard shirt (to be arranged within 10 days of admission)
- 42 hours per week schedule with theory, practicals, social studies, and extra-curricular activities
- Strict attendance and discipline policy enforced
