The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) invites applications for admission to its Ph.D. (Full-Time) and Ph.D. (Part-Time) Programs in the broad areas of Educational Policy, Planning, and Administration from an interdisciplinary social science perspective. NIEPA, fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is a premier research and training institute recognized for its contributions in education policy and governance.

Eligibility:
Ph.D. (Full-Time)
Candidates must have:
- A Master’s degree in Social Sciences or allied disciplines with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- A relaxation of 5% marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS/Differently-Abled candidates.
- Candidates with NET-JRF from UGC may also apply.
- Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree should have at least 75% marks.
- MPhil holders with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
Ph.D. (Part-Time)
- Employed professionals seeking part-time PhD admission must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer, ensuring that they can dedicate sufficient time for research.
- All part-time scholars must attend a one-year full-time course work.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of applications based on eligibility.
- Written Test on June 08, 2025.
- Interview/Viva-Voce for qualified candidates.
- Final selection based on 70% weightage for the written test and 30% for the interview.
