TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), Deemed to be University, is a NAAC-accredited institution located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Research areas include biotechnology, climate science, renewable energy, environmental policy, sustainable development, economics, legal studies, and interdisciplinary domains.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Differently-abled candidates).
- Candidates with M.Phil. degree or those qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / GATE / CEED or equivalent national-level examination are exempted from the entrance test but must appear for the interview.
- Final-year Master’s students awaiting results may also apply, subject to submission of proof of eligibility before enrolment.

- Start of online applications: 22 July 2025
- Last date for submission of applications: 25 August 2025
- Entrance test: 5 September 2025
- Interviews: 12 September 2025 onwards
- Commencement of programme: As per academic calendar
Application and admission process
- Apply online at www.terisas.ac.in by filling the form and uploading required documents.
- Selection process: Written entrance test followed by interview. Exempted category candidates (NET/JRF/GATE/CEED/M.Phil.) will be directly called for the interview.
- Final selection is based on performance in the interview, suitability of research proposal, and availability of research supervisors.
Fees
(from 2023 prospectus – for reference only; subject to revision)
- Registration fee: INR 15,000 (one-time)
- Tuition fee: INR 1,20,000 per semester
- Other charges: As applicable (library, IT services, etc.)
