AboutThe Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts ( IGNCA )
The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), set up in 1987 by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, works to explore, study, and share Indian arts. It also promotes cultural exchange with neighboring countries in South and Southeast Asia. IGNCA focuses on many areas of art, including literature (written and oral), visual arts (like architecture, sculpture, and painting), photography, films, performing arts (music, dance, and theater), and art-related festivals.
To encourage interest in Indian arts and train skilled professionals, IGNCA is offering the following one-year Post Graduate Diploma Courses:
