Ph.D. Program Admissions 2024-2025
Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. program in the subjects of Microbiology, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from candidates who have qualified the PET or are exempted from it as per the Mumbai University notification.
Eligibility
- A Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved category candidates).
- Qualified PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) and/or NET/SET/GATE/JRF.
Admission Procedure
- Ph.D. admission forms are available on the website (www.bhavans.ac.in). Candidates must print and submit the duly filled form via email by 15th March 2025 and personally at the department on the interview day, along with a processing fee of ₹100 (in cash).
- Applications sent by post will not be accepted.
- Candidates are encouraged to contact the research guides listed below to discuss their Ph.D. topics in advance and prepare a synopsis for presentation before the Research Advisory Committee (RAC).
- The list of eligible candidates and the date of the interview will be displayed on the college website and department notice boards on 20th March 2025.
