Patrachar Vidyalaya Admissions for Class 10 and 12

Introduction to Patrachar Vidyalaya
Patrachar Vidyalaya, operating under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, was established in 1968 to provide education to school dropouts and those who could not continue regular schooling. It offers a non-formal mode of education through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Patrachar Vidyalaya does not have any branches, nor has it authorized any external agencies or tuition centers for admissions or any other services.
Eligibility
For Class X Admission
- Students who have passed or failed in Class IX in 2025 from a Government/Government-aided/recognized school/board.
- Students who studied up to Class IX privately must submit an affidavit along with a date of birth certificate.
- The minimum age requirement is 14 years as of 31st July 2025.
For Class XII Admission
- Students must have passed Matriculation/High School/Secondary School Examination from a recognized board.
- A one-year gap is required after passing Class X (till 31st March 2025).
- Students who failed/passed Class XI from a recognized institution or board are eligible.
- Students who failed in Class XII from a recognized board/university can reapply.

- Online Admission Period: 1st April 2025 to 25th July 2025 (till 5:00 PM)
- Late Fee Admission Windows:
- 1st August to 13th August 2025 – Late Fee: Rs. 260/-
- 16th August to 29th August 2025 – Late Fee: Rs. 520/-
- 1st September to 13th September 2025 – Late Fee: Rs. 910/-
Students must fill out the online application at www.edudel.nic.in and later submit the hard copy along with documents at Patrachar Vidyalaya, GTB Nagar, Delhi-110009.
Documents Required for Patrachar Vidyalaya Admissions
- Self-attested copies of Class IX/X/XI/XII marksheets and certificates (as applicable).
- Original School Leaving Certificate (SLC) duly signed by the concerned authority.
- Proof of Residence in Delhi (Aadhaar card, Ration Card, Voter ID, etc.).
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/PWD), if applicable.
- Gap Year Affidavit (if applicable).
- Online Fee Payment Receipt.
Fee Structure (For Indian Nationals)
For Class X
- General/OBC: Rs. 1840/- (Admission Fee + Examination Fee)
- SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 1060/-
- Examination Fee: Rs. 300/- per subject
- Practical Fee: Rs. 150/- per subject (if applicable)
- Additional Subject Fee: Rs. 940/- per subject
For Class XII
- General/OBC: Rs. 2000/- (Admission Fee + Examination Fee)
- SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 1400/-
- Examination Fee: Rs. 350/- per subject
- Practical Fee: Rs. 150/- per subject (if applicable)
- Additional Subject Fee: Rs. 1000/- per subject
Personal Contact Program (PCP) & Study Material
- Two mandatory 15-day PCP sessions will be conducted.
- Attendance in PCP is required for Internal Assessment Marks.
- Study material will be provided free of cost (subject to availability from NIOS).
- Internal assessments, ASL, and practical exams will be conducted as per NIOS guidelines.
Examinations & Admit Cards
- Annual Examinations will be conducted by NIOS in March-April 2026.
- Practical exams will be scheduled separately and notified on the Patrachar Vidyalaya website.
- Admit cards must be collected personally from Patrachar Vidyalaya after submitting proof of attendance in PCP classes.
Important Instructions
- Students must regularly visit www.edudel.nic.in (Patrachar Vidyalaya section) for updates.
- The school does not provide transport or DTC bus pass facilities.
- Any student found taking admission via unauthorized agents/agencies will face cancellation without a refund.
- The institution does not issue Character Certificates or Letters of Recommendation.
