Madhya Pradesh Freedom Struggle Fellowship 2025

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Freedom Struggle Fellowship for the year 2024-25 under the Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Swatantrata Sangram State Archive and Library.

Fellowship Amount

Each selected fellow will receive a stipend of ₹4,32,000 (four lakh thirty-two thousand) per annum.

Number of Fellowships

1. Freedom Struggle Fellowship – 1
2. Research Fellowship related to archives – 1

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be between 26 years and 60 years.
2. The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
3. The applicant must be proficient in Hindi.
4. The applicant should possess an academic degree in the fields related to history, political science, library science, or journalism.
5. The applicant should have research experience and must submit a research proposal on a subject related to the Madhya Pradesh Freedom Struggle or archives.

Other Conditions

1. The applicant must submit a self-written, original research proposal (minimum of 300 words) along with the application.
2. The applicant will be required to conduct research under the guidance of a supervisor appointed by the institution.
3. The fellowship duration will be one year, extendable based on research progress and evaluation.
4. During the fellowship, the fellow cannot take up any other government or private employment.
5. Upon completion of the fellowship, the fellow must submit a detailed research report in Hindi.
6. The research work must be original; any plagiarism or copying will result in cancellation of the fellowship.
7. The fellow will be required to publish at least one research paper in a recognized journal.
8. The fellow must participate in seminars and discussions organized by the institution as per requirements.
9. If the fellow fails to fulfill the prescribed criteria or submits unsatisfactory work, the institution reserves the right to terminate the fellowship.

2. Self-attested copies of educational certificates
3. Age proof (such as birth certificate or 10th mark sheet)
4. Domicile certificate
5. Category certificate (if applicable)
6. Hindi proficiency certificate
7. Research proposal
8. Experience certificate (if applicable)
9. Synopsis of the proposed research
10. Declaration of non-employment
11. Any other relevant documents
