About Mizoram University
Mizoram University, located at Tanhril, Aizawl, Mizoram, is an esteemed Central University. The University has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in 2014 and 2019, awarded ISO Certification in 2018, and consistently ranked among the top 100 Universities in India by NIRF (2016–2023). It secured 1st Rank in the North-East Region in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 and 13th position among Central Universities in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2023.
The School of Engineering & Technology was established in 2007 and currently has six departments. All B.Tech programmes are approved by AICTE.

Eligibility
- Regular Entry:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). - Lateral Entry:
Three-year diploma holders in Engineering in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) are eligible. Candidates appearing in the final year of Diploma Examination in 2025 may also apply provisionally.

As per JEE (Main) 2025 guidelines (Refer Chapter-3, Section-3.1, Page No. 17 of JEE Main Information Bulletin).

Mode of Admission
B.Tech at Mizoram University 2025
- 50% of the available seats are filled through JEE Main scores.
- Remaining seats are filled through Mizoram University Engineering Entrance Examination (MZUEEE) 2025.
