Eligibility
- Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible.
- Must possess MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch. degree in relevant disciplines recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Must have completed qualifying degree or experience on or before 30th June 2025.
- Sponsored candidates must fulfill specific criteria outlined in the prospectus. (Check Website)
- Minimum marks of 50% required in the entrance exam for eligibility.

- General (UR)/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,600 + transaction charges
- SC/ST: Rs. 1,200 + transaction charges
- PwBD candidates: Exempted from application fee
- Mode of Application: Online registration through JIPMER website.
- Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Online Mode.
Entrance Examination Details
- Date: 25th May 2025 (Sunday)
- Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) at exam centers in Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, and Puducherry.
- Pattern: 100 MCQs (Part-I: General curriculum + Part-II: Concerned subject specialization)
- Marking Scheme:
- +4 for every correct answer
- -1 for every incorrect answer
- 0 for unanswered questions

Emoluments (JIPMER Post-Doctoral Programs 2025 Selected Candidates)
- Emoluments equivalent to Senior Residents as per 7th CPC will be paid to non-sponsored candidates.
- Sponsored candidates are not eligible for stipend/emoluments.
Other Important Information
- Hall Ticket and Valid Photo ID are mandatory for examination entry.
- Candidates must maintain discipline and abide by JIPMER’s Honour Code.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited; any violation will lead to strict action.
- Legal jurisdiction for disputes will lie within the Union Territory of Puducherry.
