Admission Alert: IIFT PhD 2025 | Delhi & Kolkata
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for its Ph.D. (Management) Programme 2025 (Full-Time and Part-Time) at its Delhi and Kolkata campuses. Admission will be based on UGC-NET scores, followed by interviews. The last date to apply is 20 May 2025.

- Minimum duration: 3 years, maximum: 6 years (extendable up to 10 years for women/PwD)
- Classes for course work conducted on weekends

Eligibility
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade)
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS
- Candidates with 4-year UG must have 75% marks
- M.Phil. holders or those with AIU-recognized PG Diplomas (e.g. PGDIM from IIMs) are also eligible
- Final year candidates may apply provisionally
- For Part-Time applicants: No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer is mandatory
- Foreign nationals can apply to the Full-Time programme only
Admission Process
- UGC-NET (JRF or NET) score-based shortlisting
- Three eligible categories for 2023–24 NET:
- With JRF and eligible for Asst. Professor
- Without JRF but eligible for Asst. Professor
- Eligible only for Ph.D. (Not for JRF/Asst. Professor)
- Final selection based on:
- UGC NET score – 70% weightage
- Interview – 30% weightage

Fellowship & Financial Support
- Full-Time Ph.D. scholars are eligible for a fellowship of:
- ₹37,000/month + HRA (First 2 years)
- ₹42,000/month + HRA (Next 3 years)
- JRF-qualified candidates are also required to assist in teaching/research
