Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra
Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra (SBKK), established formally in 1952 (initially founded in 1947 as ‘Jhankar’), is a premier cultural institution located at 1, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi–110001. It is recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and known for its excellence in Indian classical music and dance education, along with a celebrated dance repertory performing nationally and internationally. The campus houses a state-of-the-art library, performance venues, including the prestigious Kamani Auditorium, and hostel facilities.

- Minimum age for Foundation Course: 8 years
- Upper age limit: 35 years for Dance, 40 years for Music (relaxable for deserving candidates)
- Selection: Through auditions at the Kendra (pre-recorded music not allowed)
- Direct Admission: Self-financed category available as per institute norms
- International Students: Accepted under ICCR scholarships or self-finance

Important Rules
- 75% attendance mandatory for examinations
- Classes are held 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekend classes: Sat–Sun, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Bi-annual and annual exams are conducted regularly
- Scholarships available for deserving and financially weak students
