Ranking Methodology

The Outlook-ICARE ranking methodology evaluates B-Schools through a comprehensive and transparent framework assessing five critical parameters:

  1. Faculty-Student Ratio (25%) – Evaluates access to qualified faculty and the level of academic engagement.
  2. Research Output and Impact (20%) – Measures the quantity, quality, and relevance of research, publications, and industry contributions.
  3. Employability of Graduates (25%) – Assesses placement success, internship opportunities, and alumni performance in the industry.
  4. Faculty Quality (20%) – Reviews faculty credentials, teaching experience, and industry linkages that enhance learning outcomes.
  5. Inclusiveness and Diversity (10%) – Examines the institution’s initiatives to promote equity, diversity, and intercultural understanding on campus.

Each parameter is further broken down into sub-criteria to ensure a detailed and balanced assessment. The final score is normalized and weighted to generate an overall score out of 100. This methodology has been refined through consultations with academic experts, business leaders, and recruiters to reflect contemporary educational and employment trends in management education.
