Applications are invited for cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in:
Immunology | Infectious & Chronic Disease Biology | Molecular & Cellular Biology | Chemical Biology | Structural Biology | Computational Biology
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc./M.Tech/MBBS/MPharm/Integrated M.Sc. or equivalent in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) with minimum 50% marks (aggregate).
- Relaxation: 5% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates.
- Fellowship Requirement:
- Valid doctoral fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, DST-INSPIRE, or other government agencies.
- Provisional Admission:
- Candidates appearing for final exams or awaiting fellowship results may apply, subject to eligibility fulfillment before joining.
Reservation Policy
- SC: 15% | ST: 7.5% | OBC-NCL: 27% | PwD: 5% (horizontal) | EWS: 10%.
Selection Procedure
- Entrance Exam (NII-2025-26):
- Date: 11th May 2025 (Computer-Based, Multiple Centers).
- Shortlist Announcement: 16th May 2025 (on NII website).
- Interviews:
- Online Rounds: 3rd–10th June 2025.
Programme Details
- Commencement: 1st July 2025.
- Thesis Supervisor Allocation: By 9th July 2025 (based on mutual preference).
- Hostel: Shared accommodation provided on residential campus.
