Admission Alert – IIITM Gwalior PhD 2025 (July – Dec)
ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior, invites applications for admission to its Full-Time/Part-Time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs for the Odd Semester 2025-26 (July-Dec 2025).
Important Guidelines for Ph.D. Application:
- Applicants must fill out the online application form available at www.iiitm.ac.in. Hard copies are not required but must be presented at the interview.
- Application fee: Rs. 500 (GEN/OBC/EWS) and Rs. 250 (SC/ST/PwD), payable online.
- Shortlisting will be based on academic records and/or performance in the presentation-cum-interview.
- Shortlisted candidates must bring original and self-attested copies of academic credentials, scorecards, valid category certificates, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.
- Reservations are applicable as per Government of India norms.
Important Dates:
- Start of online applications: March 12, 2025
- Last date for submission: April 14, 2025 (5 PM)
- Shortlisted applicants list release: May 2, 2025
- Presentation-cum-Interview: May 16-17, 2025
Eligibility:
- Engineering Departments: Master’s degree in relevant fields with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale). B.Tech. holders with 75% marks or 8.0 CGPA and a valid GATE score are eligible. CFTI B.Tech. graduates with 8.0 CGPA are exempt from GATE.
- Management Studies: M.Tech./M.E./MBA/M.A./MBBS or equivalent with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, along with CSIR/UGC-NET, JRF, CAT, GMAT, or GRE scores. B.Tech. holders with 75% marks or 8.0 CGPA and a valid GATE score are also eligible.
- Engineering Sciences: M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. in relevant disciplines with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. B.Tech. holders with 75% marks or 8.0 CGPA and a valid GATE/NET score are eligible.
Part-Time Ph.D. Admission:
- Professionals with at least two years of experience in industries, academic institutions, or R&D organizations.
- B.Tech. degree holders with five years of relevant experience are also eligible.
Sponsored Project Employee Admission:
- Employees working under sponsored projects at ABV-IIITM Gwalior can apply if they meet Ph.D. eligibility requirements and have funding for at least two years.
