Programme Duration:
DHSGSU BPES 2025-26 Program
- 1 Year (2 Semesters): UG Certificate in Physical Education & Sports
- 2 Years (4 Semesters): UG Diploma in Physical Education & Sports
- 3 Years (6 Semesters): Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 Years (8 Semesters): Bachelor’s Degree (Honors/Research)
(As per NEP 2020)

Eligibility:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Age Limit (as on 31 July 2025):
- UR/EWS/OBC: Maximum 22 years
- SC/ST: Maximum 27 years
- Must appear in departmental entrance test consisting of:
- Fitness Test (60 marks) – Modified AAHPER Youth Fitness Test
- Sports Proficiency Test (60 marks) – One sport selected from the list
- Bonus Marks (20) – Based on certified sports achievements
- Bonus Marks (20) – Based on academic performance in Class 12
- Total Max. Marks: 160
Sports Proficiency Test – Choose One Game:
Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Judo, Handball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Swimming, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Yoga, Baseball, Taekwondo, Wushu, Athletics (1 track + 1 field event)

- Entrance Test (Fitness + Sports Proficiency): Tentatively 2nd week of July 2025
- Venue: Abdul Gani Khan Sports Stadium, DHSGSU Campus, Sagar (M.P.)
- Medical Certificate: Compulsory in the prescribed format at the time of test
- Candidates must appear in sports kit.
- Only candidates will be allowed inside the test venue on the day of the test.
- Outstation candidates must arrange their own accommodation.
Attendance & Uniform:
- Minimum 75% attendance required in theory and practical classes.
- Students must wear common sports kit (to be purchased in 1st semester).
Includes:- Track Suit (1), T-Shirts (2 + 1 House T-shirt), Shorts (2)
Leadership Training & Intramurals:
- A 7-day Leadership Camp is mandatory during the programme.
- Regular Intramural Competitions to promote sportsmanship and team-building.
