Indian Air Force – Recruitment of Indian/Gorkha Male Candidates as Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical), Medical Assistant Trade (Intake 02/2025)
The Indian Air Force invites online applications from Indian/Gorkha (a subject of Nepal) male candidates for selection test to join the IAF as Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical), Medical Assistant Trade for Intake 02/2025.
1. Online Registration
Opening: From 1100 Hrs on 11 July 2025
Closing: Up to 2300 Hrs on 31 July 2025
2. Online Examination
Commencement: From 25 September 2025 onwards
3. Marital Status and Date of Birth Block
- Medical Assistant (10+2 level candidates):
- Must be unmarried
- Born between 02 July 2005 and 02 July 2009 (both dates inclusive)
- Medical Assistant (Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy holders):
- Unmarried candidates: Born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2007
- Married candidates: Born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2005
(All dates inclusive)
4. Educational Qualification
4.1. For 10+2/Intermediate Candidates:
- Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UTs.
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
- Should have passed two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from recognised Education Boards with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
4.2. For Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates:
- Must have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Must possess Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks and must be registered with State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment.
Important Notes:
- Only unmarried male candidates (for 10+2 qualification) are eligible.
- Candidates must bring original and four self-attested photocopies of required documents at the time of selection.
- Exact percentage to be rounded off to nearest two decimal places. For example, 49.99% is not eligible.
