Eligibility
Undergraduate Programmes (B.Sc. Sports Coaching / BPES)
- Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination.
- Minimum Marks:
- UR/EWS/OBC/Kashmiri Migrants: 45%
- SC/ST: 40%
- Sports Participation:
Mandatory representation in at least one of the following:
Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games/Cups/Championships, SAF Games, World University Games, Khelo India, SGFI, or other events organized/funded by MYAS/IOA/National/International Federations.
Postgraduate Programmes
- M.A. Sports Psychology:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / Physical Education / with Psychology as one subject.
- Minimum 50% marks.
- Sports participation at State/District/College level.
- M.Sc. Sports Coaching, MPES, M.Sc. Applied Sports Nutrition:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
- Minimum 50% marks.
- Sports participation at State/District/College level.
Admission Process
- Based on NSUEE (National Sports University Entrance Examination) and specific programme assessments including:
- Physical Fitness Test
- Game Proficiency Test
- Sports Achievements
- Viva Voce
- For some programmes, additional admission test criteria apply (details in the prospectus).
