The Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA), Bhubaneswar, is a reputed institution recognized for its excellence in teaching, research, and training in Mathematical Sciences. IMA’s mission is to disseminate and promote mathematical knowledge, develop competent professionals, and encourage a culture of mathematical excellence in society.
Applications are invited for admission to the following Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs for the academic session 2025–26. Scholarships may be awarded to meritorious students as per institutional norms.
1. Undergraduate Course (Four Years Duration)
B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing
- Intake: 45 (Forty-five)
- Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects.
2. Postgraduate Courses (Two Years Duration)
M.A./M.Sc. in Mathematics with Computational Finance
- Intake: 30 (Thirty)
M.A./M.Sc. in Mathematics with Data Science
- Intake: 30 (Thirty)
- Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics as honours/pass subjects.
3. Integrated M.Sc. Courses
Some integrated M.Sc. programs may also be offered subject to approval from the Competent Authorities. Details will be updated on the official website as applicable.
