ANDHRA PRADESH INTEGRATED COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (APICET 2025)

For Admission into MBA & MCA Programmes for the Academic Year 2025-26
The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET-2025) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The examination is for admission into the first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs offered by University Constituent and Affiliated Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
- Must be an Indian National and satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per Government orders.
- Must have a 3-year or 4-year undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For MBA: Must have a bachelor’s degree of 3 or 4 years duration from a recognized university or equivalent.
- For MCA: Must have a bachelor’s degree of 3 or 4 years duration with Mathematics as a subject at the Intermediate (10+2) or Degree level.
- Candidates with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/BC categories) are eligible.
- Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible but must submit proof of passing at the time of admission.
- Degrees obtained through distance mode must be recognized by UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
Note: Candidates who have passed their entire degree course in one sitting are not eligible.

Registration Fee

Exam Centers
AP ICET-2025 will be conducted across various locations in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad. Candidates can select up to five (5) preferred centers during application.
Note: The convener reserves the right to allocate a different center in unavoidable circumstances.

Selection Process & Rank Calculation
- Candidates securing at least 25% marks (50 out of 200) will be assigned ranks. SC/ST candidates have no minimum qualifying marks.
- In case of a tie in marks, the following criteria will be used:
- Higher marks in Section-A (Analytical Ability).
- If still tied, higher marks in Section-B (Communication Ability).
- If still tied, older candidates will be given preference.
Normalization of Scores
Since AP ICET-2025 is conducted in multiple sessions, a normalization process is used to ensure fairness. This adjusts scores based on difficulty variations between different exam sessions.
General Instructions
- Hall tickets must be downloaded from the official website and preserved for future reference.
- Appearing for APICET 2025 does not guarantee admission; admissions depend on merit and other eligibility conditions.
- Any false information or non-fulfillment of eligibility criteria will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Candidates must report to the exam center on time; late entry is not permitted.
- The final rank is valid only for the 2025-26 academic year.
