Applications are invited for admission to the M.Tech. in Water Resource Management (WRM) programme at NERIWALM, Tezpur for the academic year 2025–26.
Programme Details
- Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)
- Total Credits: 68 (as per ASTU norms)
- Intake: 18 Seats (Full-time)
- 9 seats for sponsored candidates from Govt./PSUs/Semi-Govt. organizations
- 9 seats for GATE-qualified/unreserved candidates
Eligibility
- Academic Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech/AMIE in Civil or Agricultural Engineering with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Final-year students awaiting results may apply provisionally.
- For Sponsored Candidates:
- Must have 2+ years of full-time work experience in a relevant government, private, or academic organization with turnover exceeding ₹5 crores (for private sector).
- Sponsorship certificate in prescribed format is required.
- Selection Modes:
- GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference.
- Candidates without GATE or sponsorship must appear for NERIWALM-EE 2025, an institute-conducted entrance test.

Scholarships

- Sponsored/Nominated candidates: Not eligible for any financial assistance from NERIWALM.
- Multiple scholarships from other agencies are not allowed.
