IIIT Bhubaneswar – About the Institute
The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhubaneswar was established with the vision to create a world-class Information Technology institute in Odisha. It was granted unitary university status by the Government of Odisha on 20th January 2014.
Campus
The 36-acre residential campus at Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar, houses academic blocks, labs, hostels, sports facilities, guesthouses, and a comprehensive library with digital and print resources. Recreational and essential shopping facilities are also available.

Eligibility (Odisha Category Only)
- Minimum 60% in Class 10 or 6.32 CGPA.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in Class 12 Science stream.
- At least 45% in each of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry in Class 12.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
- Must have appeared for JEE Main 2025 (CRL Rank will be used).
Admission Process
- Apply Online: From 26 May to 19 June 2025.
- Payment of Rs. 1500 application fee via:
https://erp.eshiksa.net/DirectFeesv3/IIITBhubaneswar - Seat Allotment: Round-wise allotment based on merit and branch preference.
- Online Document Verification of category claims.
- Seat Acceptance Fee: Rs. 35,000 (adjusted against 1st semester fee).
- Reporting Offline (details will be communicated later).
Reservations (Odisha Category)
- SC, ST, EWS, Green Card (GC), Physically Challenged (PC), Ex-Servicemen (ES), Odisha Govt. School Students (GH), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW), Outlying Odia-speaking tracts (OL), and 30% Women quota (excluding OL and TFW).
- All require valid certificates and Odisha Nativity proof.

- Special TFW Scheme: For students not covered under standard TFW quota.
Refund Policy
- Withdrawal before final round: ₹34,000 refund.
- Withdrawal after final round: Only ₹15,000 (Caution Deposit) refunded.
