Delhi Minority Scholarship Schemes for Academic Year 2024-25

The Government of NCT of Delhi, through its Department of Revenue, offers various scholarship schemes aimed at promoting education among minority students. These scholarships are part of the government’s larger effort to improve educational opportunities and social inclusion for students from economically and socially disadvantaged minority communities in Delhi.

Minority communities covered under these schemes include Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsis), Muslim, and Christian communities. By providing financial support for school and higher education, the government seeks to reduce dropout rates and empower students to pursue academic and professional success.

Applications Open for 2024-25

For the academic year 2024-25, applications are now invited for three key scholarship schemes:

  1. Reimbursement of Tuition Fees for minority students from Class I to XII studying in recognised public or private schools in Delhi.
  2. Merit Scholarship for minority students pursuing education in Professional, Technical Colleges, Institutions, and Universities.
  3. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar State Award for toppers among minority students.

Eligibility:

Students must belong to one of the notified minority communities and be residents of Delhi, studying in recognised institutions in Delhi.
