The Institute of Nursing Education (INE), Bambolim-Goa, is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and functions under the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Goa. The Institute runs four nursing programs:
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)
- Post-Basic Diploma in Cardiothoracic and Neonatal Nursing
- Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing)

Eligibility
To apply for M.Sc. Nursing:
- Indian citizen
- B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from INC-recognized institution with min. 55% aggregate marks
- Registered Nurse & Midwife (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1-year work experience in hospital/community care after B.Sc. Nursing (or 1 year before/after Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing)
- Must have completed bond service (for Govt. institution candidates)
- 15 years residence in Goa (relaxed to 10 years in specific cases)
- Medical fitness certified by Govt. doctor
- Life member of Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI)
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential; Marathi desirable
- In-service candidates require employer’s NOC (can be submitted post-application)
Selection Process
- Entrance Exam (mandatory for all candidates):
Based on B.Sc. Nursing syllabus + Logical Reasoning + English + General Knowledge- Merit list prepared on basis of entrance exam performance
- In case of tie:
- Higher qualifying exam marks considered
- If tie persists, greater work experience is considered
- Display of eligibility list: 3rd July 2025 (10:00 AM)
- Entrance Exam Date: 7th July 2025 (10:30 AM)
- Hall Ticket Issue: 7th July 2025 (9:00 AM)

Anti-Ragging Policy
Ragging is strictly prohibited under Goa Prohibition of Ragging Act, 2008 & 2010.
