Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar invites online applications from eligible candidates for full-time admission to its Ph.D. Programmes (Session 2024–25) across a wide range of disciplines in Arts, Science, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Law, Education, Social Work, Engineering, and Interdisciplinary fields.

Eligibility
As per UGC Regulations 2022:
- Master’s degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade)
Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS/PWD candidates - OR M.Phil. with at least 55% marks
- OR 4-year UG with minimum 75% marks (5% relaxation as above)
- Provisional admission allowed for candidates awaiting final year results
- Valid score in UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE/CEED/GPAT (Pharmacy) or equivalent test conducted in 2024
Admission Process
- Admission will be based on NET/GATE/CEED/GPAT score (70%) and interview (30%)
- Interview to assess research interest, proposal, and aptitude (date to be announced)
- Score of NET-2024 only will be considered for admission (except for valid JRFs)
