Admission Notice for B.Tech. Programmes 2025–26

Registration Window: 17 May to 6 June 2025 (Candidates should not wait for the last day to fill the form to avoid any last minute glitch & rush on the website)


Programmes Offered

The Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, invites applications for admission to the following full-time 4-year B.Tech. programmes for the academic session 2025–26:

  • B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
  • B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering

Eligibility

  • Must have passed Class XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Must have secured minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and passed in English:
    • UR/EWS: 60%
    • OBC-NCL: 55%
    • SC/ST/PwBD: 50%
  • Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025 – Paper I.

Note: Candidates with a compartment in Class XII are not eligible for the DU BTech Programs 2025.


Admission Process

  1. JEE (Main) 2025 (Paper I) score is mandatory. Admission is based on Common Rank List (CRL).
  2. Candidates must register separately on DU Engineering portal: https://engineering.uod.ac.in.
  3. Online form submission only. No offline applications accepted. Fill the form through desktop/laptop. Avoid filling the form using a mobile phone.
  4. Preferences for programmes must be submitted at the time of registration.
  5. Admission is based on allocation rounds, physical verification of documents, and timely fee payment.

(No corrections will be allowed once the application form is successfully submitted, hence take utmost care while filling the form)

Fees

For the DU BTech Programs 2025

  • Total Admission Fee: ₹2,35,200
  • Admission Confirmation Fee: ₹1,00,000 (to be paid post seat approval)
  • For PwBD: ₹25,000 | For Orphan Quota: ₹10

Fee Waiver:

  • 90% waiver for candidates with parental income ≤ ₹4 lakh
  • 50% waiver for income between ₹4–8 lakh (on valid documentation)

Ensure to pay the fee well in time and not wait for the last date, no payment of fee may cause disqualification.


Financial Assistance (Loans)

Pradhan Mantri Vidyalakshmi (PM-Vidyalakshmi) Scheme

The PM-Vidyalakshmi Scheme is a Central Sector initiative by the Government of India designed to provide collateral-free and guarantor-free education loans to students seeking admission in over 860 Quality Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including the Colleges, Departments, and Centres of the University of Delhi.

Students admitted to DU BTech Programs 2025 who wish to avail of financial aid may apply through the official portal: http://pmvidyalaxmi.co.in. The portal is completely free of cost and enables applicants to:

  • Apply to multiple banks for education loans
  • Avail collateral-free and guarantor-free loan options
