Established in 1983, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is a pioneering national resource institute in entrepreneurship education, training, research, and incubation. Supported by premier financial institutions such as IDBI Bank, ICICI Ltd, IFCI Ltd, and State Bank of India, and backed by the Government of Gujarat, EDII has emerged as a Centre of Excellence recognized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. EDII has spearheaded entrepreneurship development in India and abroad by setting up entrepreneurship development centres in several states and countries like Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and Rwanda. The Institute also runs CrAdLE, its own business incubation centre supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
About the Course
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Online (PGDM-Online) is an AICTE-approved two-year management programme designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners (especially from the MSME sector), family business successors, and professionals seeking entrepreneurial or leadership roles. The course offers academic rigor combined with flexible online learning and mentorship support to help learners apply knowledge in real-time to their ventures or roles.
Programme Architecture & Course Content
The PGDM (Online) is structured over four semesters (two years), comprising 96 credits and 2400 learning hours. Courses are delivered through weekend live online sessions supported by pre-recorded content, value-added certifications via SWAYAM, and immersive campus programs.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university.
- Candidates from any discipline with an entrepreneurial mindset are encouraged to apply.
- Work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Approximate Fees
- Application Fee: Rs. 1,500 (Rs. 1,000 for female and reserved category candidates)
- Programme Fee: Approx. Rs. 1,75,000 (payable in 4 instalments)
