NIT Arunachal Pradesh PDF under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme (Phase II), 2025-26
NIT Arunachal Pradesh invites applications from eligible Indian researchers for Postdoctoral Fellowships (PDF) under the “Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT: Phase II”, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
Eligibility
- Indian citizen with Ph.D. from a recognized university, first-class academic record throughout.
- Ph.D. must be completed within the last 5 years as of the last date of application.
- Candidates should not have obtained a Ph.D. from NIT Arunachal Pradesh.
- Age limit: 40 years as of the application submission date.
- Not eligible if currently in regular employment; temporary researchers must relinquish their position upon selection.
- A suitable mentor/guide from NIT Arunachal Pradesh must be identified.
- Preference for applicants with strong industry linkages and industry-directed research.
- Research proposal must clearly outline objectives, deliverables, and outcomes.
Duration and Fellowship Details
- Tenure: 1 year (extendable based on MeitY review)
- Fellowship: ₹1,08,393 per month
- Contingency Grant: ₹1,00,000 per annum (₹25,000 quarterly)
