About the IIT Kharagpur Executive MBA 2025 Program
The Executive MBA (MBA-Ex) at VGSoM is a 3-year, weekend residential program designed exclusively for working professionals. The program is delivered in a face-to-face format at the IIT Kharagpur campus on alternate weekends, making it suitable for executives who wish to enhance their managerial and leadership capabilities without taking a break from their careers.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must have at least three years of full-time work experience as on 31st July 2025 after completion of the qualifying degree.
- Must hold either:
- A 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology
OR - A 1st class Master’s degree in Science, Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at the Bachelor’s level)
- A 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- General / OBC / EWS: Minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale
- SC / ST / PwD: Minimum 55% marks or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale
- CGPA will not be converted into percentage. If the degree-awarding institution uses CGPA, it will be considered as awarded in the transcript. If CGPA is on a scale other than 10, equivalence will be calculated using IIT Kharagpur’s internal formula.
Selection Process
- Selection will be through a written test and personal interview conducted at multiple locations.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited via call letters.
- Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories will be as per Government of India rules applicable to IIT Kharagpur.

Course Fee
- Total Program Fee: ₹8,00,000 (Eight Lakhs)
- Hostel, boarding, and personal expenses are not included in the above and must be borne separately by candidates.
