About IIIT Kalyani PhD 2025 Admissions
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for admission to its Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme for the Autumn Semester 2025–26. The Ph.D. programme will be offered in the following disciplines:
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Mathematics
- Physics

Eligibility
For Engineering Disciplines (CSE/ECE):
- Master’s in Engineering/Technology in a relevant field with minimum 6.5 CGPA (10-point scale) or 60% marks, OR
- Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology in a relevant field with minimum 7.5 CGPA or 70% marks and GATE/NET qualified
For Science Disciplines (Mathematics/Physics):
- Master’s in relevant science discipline with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks and GATE/NET qualified
Note: Fulfilling eligibility does not guarantee admission. Final decision rests with the Selection Committee.
