Indian Institute of Information Technology Una (IIIT Una), Himachal Pradesh, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. The Institute focuses on quality research and advanced learning in Information Technology and allied fields. IIIT Una invites applications for Ph.D. programs in the Autumn 2025 session.

Exemption:
Candidates from CFTIs with ≥75% or CGPA ≥7.5 in a 4-year B.Tech./Integrated program (via JEE) are exempt from the national-level exam requirement.
Part-Time Ph.D.
In addition to the above:
- GATE/NET not mandatory.
- IIIT Una may conduct its own test.
- NOC from the employer is mandatory, including:
- Permission to pursue part-time study.
- Availability of research facilities at the workplace.
- Consent for campus residency during required periods.
