Part-Time MTech NIT Rourkela 2025 Admission Notice
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela invites online applications from eligible and employed professionals for admission to its Part-Time M.Tech. Programmes under the Self-Financing Scheme, starting in Autumn (July) 2025. This programme is tailored for working individuals who want to enhance their qualifications without leaving their jobs.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a B.Tech./B.E. degree (or M.Sc. where specified) in the relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks. Some specializations also allow M.Sc. applicants with mathematics at +2 and +3 levels.
Applicants must:
- Be currently employed full-time
- Be located within commutable distance from Rourkela to attend evening classes
- Have relevant background in the chosen discipline

Programme Schedule & Curriculum
Part-Time MTech NIT Rourkela 2025
- Evening Classes: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Duration: 3 academic years
- Includes theory, lab, seminar, project, and viva
- Curriculum follows the same structure as regular M.Tech. and will be shared upon admission
