Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for admission into the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course in the institutes of Assam for the academic session 2025. The selection will be made through an Entrance Examination conducted by the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati.
Important Dates:
- Online Application Availability: 02-06-2025 to 30-06-2025
- Entrance Examination Date: 20-07-2025 (11 AM to 1 PM)
- Admit Card Download: From 07-07-2025
Eligibility:
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by the University.
- Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit.
- Reservation: As per Govt. of Assam norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories.
Examination Details:
- Mode: Objective type MCQs based on INC-prescribed GNM syllabus.
- Total Questions: 50
- Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 20th Percentile (Management Quota), 18th Percentile (Other Seats)
- SC/ST/OBC: 18th/15th Percentile
- PwD (Divyang): 15th Percentile
Application Process:
- Visit the University website: www.ssuhs.in
- Fill the online application form and pay the non-refundable fee (exempted for PwD candidates with ≥40% disability).
- Retain the Application Number and Password for future use.
Documents Required at Counselling:
- Original certificates (educational, category, PwD, etc.).
- NOC and study leave sanction order for in-service candidates.
