- 5% relaxation in marks for reserved category candidates.
Exemption from Written Test
The following candidates are exempted from the written test and can directly appear for the interview:
- UGC-CSIR (JRF)/NET qualified
- GATE qualified
- SLET/SET qualified
- M.Phil./M.Tech./M.E. or equivalent qualification holders
- INSPIRE Fellowship holders
- Teacher Fellowship holders
Selection Process
Written Test (for non-exempted candidates):
- Date: 30/06/2025
- Duration: 1 hour
- Full Marks: 150
- Question Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 50%
- OBC: 45%
- SC/ST: 35%
- Syllabus: Topics covered in B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. courses in Electronic Science, with emphasis on Electronics and Physics.
Interview:
- Date and Time: 10/07/2025 at 11:00 AM
- Candidates must submit a one-page research proposal at the time of the interview.
- Final selection will be based on interview performance and allocation of supervisor.
