Coir Artisan in Coir Technology (NSQF Level 3) – 2025
The Coir Board, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, invites applications for admission to the Six-Month Certificate Course of Coir Artisan in Coir Technology (NSQF Level 3), followed by one-month internship, for the academic session commencing soon.
Course Details
- Course Title: Certificate Course of Coir Artisan in Coir Technology
- Duration: 6 Months + 1 Month Internship
- Eligibility: Candidates aged between 18 to 50 years
- Batch Size: 20 candidates per centre
- Stipend: ₹3000/- per month to all selected trainees
- Hostel Facility:
- Free hostel for trainees at:
- Bhubaneswar
- Thanjavur
- Alappuzha (only for ladies)
- Reimbursement: ₹500/- per month for eligible trainees staying outside in:
- Alappuzha (male candidates)
- Rajahmundry (all candidates)
- Free hostel for trainees at:
Preference & Reservation
- Preference will be given to candidates sponsored by Coir Factories or Coir Co-operative Societies (as per R&L Rules 1958)
- 20% seats reserved for SC/ST candidates (attach self-attested caste certificate)

Application Procedure
- Last date to apply: 19 June 2025
- Application must be filled in the prescribed format only (form available in the notification).
- Attach self-attested copies of:
- Educational qualification certificates
- Age proof
- Experience (if any)
- Caste certificate (for SC/ST candidates)
- Selected candidates must produce:
- Conduct certificates from two gazetted officers
- Original educational certificates at the time of joining (to be returned after completion)
- Aadhar card, bank details, and two passport-size photos
- A signed agreement on plain paper in prescribed format
