About USME
Established in 2017, USME at DTU’s East Delhi Campus offers UG, PG, and doctoral programs in management, entrepreneurship, and economics. The school is backed by faculty from IIMs, IITs, DSE, and JNU, and houses over 1,000 students. Facilities include seminar halls, modern classrooms, labs, discussion spaces, and sports infrastructure. The school has active student clubs and organizes regular workshops, conclaves, lectures, and festivals.
Programs Offered
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics
- Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
- Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Candidates in final year can apply (provisional admission).
- No age limit.
- Admission Criteria:
- Based on CUET-PG 2025 score in one of the following: Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- In case of tie: Preference to older candidate; then qualifying exam marks.
- Fee Structure:
- 1st Year: Rs. 50,000
- 2nd Year: Rs. 52,700
- Seat Matrix: 62 total (GN: 24, SC: 9, ST: 5, OBC: 16, EWS: 6 + SGC, KM seats)
- Key Features:
- Strong base in theory and applied fields like health economics, GIS, analytics.
- Electives from management and analytics.
- Industry exposure, mandatory workshops, and two-semester dissertation.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hons) in Economics
- Duration: 4 years, with multiple exit options:
- 1 year – Certificate
- 2 years – Diploma
- 3 years – BA Degree (with/without Minor)
- 4 years – BA (Hons) (with/without Minor)
- Eligibility & Admission:
- Based on CUET-UG 2025 (details to be announced post result).

B.A. (Hons) Economics (Total Fees)
- 1st Year Fee: Rs. 61,300
- 2nd Year Fee: Rs. 61,300
- 3rd Year Fee: Rs. 61,300
- 4th Year Fee: Rs. 63,600
- Total Fee (for 4 years): Rs. 2,47,500
This fee structure covers all academic and institutional costs per year. It reflects the NEP-2020 structure with flexibility for exit options after each year.
