Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kerala, invites applications for admission to its various Postgraduate (PG), M.Tech, and MBA programmes offered across statutory departments and inter-school centres for the academic year 2025-26. Admissions will be conducted through the Common Admission Test (CAT-MGU 2025) and as per regulations for specific programs.

Admissions are open for the following broad streams:
- Postgraduate Programs (M.Sc., M.A., M.Ed., M.PES, LL.M., etc.)
- M.Tech Programs in Energy Science, Nanoscience, and Polymer Science
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program

Application and Admission Process
- Mode of Application: Online only
- Maximum Choices: Candidates can apply for a maximum of four different programs through a single application.
- Entrance Test Requirement:
- Admission to all programs (except MBA and international quota seats) requires appearing for the CAT MGU 2025 entrance test.
- MBA admission is based on KMAT/CMAT/CAT scores, Group Discussion, and Interview.
- Candidates with valid GATE scores are exempted from the M.Tech entrance test but must register through the university portal.
- International Students: Separate portal available for admissions ucica.mgu.ac.in.

Candidates can opt for up to three centres:
- Thiruvananthapuram
- Kottayam
- Ernakulam
- Kozhikode
- Kannur
Final allotment will be based on the university’s discretion.
Reservation Policy
- 20% additional seats are reserved for candidates under the Open All India Quota (except for MBA, M.Ed, M.Tech, MA Social Work in Disability Studies and Action, BBA LLB programs).
- 25% additional seats reserved for foreign students in PG programmes.
Important Instructions
- Candidates awaiting their final semester results may apply but must submit the qualifying certificate before admission closure.
- No separate communications will be sent to applicants regarding admit card availability, entrance test dates, or admission announcements. All updates will be available on www.cat.mgu.ac.in.
