Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering, was established in 1941 and reconstituted as DTU in 2009 by Govt. of NCT Delhi Act 6 of 2009. With a legacy of over 84 years, DTU is globally recognized for its excellence in engineering, technology, management, science, research, innovation, and interdisciplinary education. The university holds an ‘A’ grade accreditation from NAAC and ISO 9001:2015 certification. DTU offers an ecosystem combining academic rigor, cutting-edge research, industry collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship through its various departments and centers of excellence.
The main campus is located at Shahbad Daulatpur, Rohini, North-West Delhi, while select programs also operate from its East Delhi Campus in Vivek Vihar.

Eligibility
For the DTU PhD Admission 2025. Eligibility varies by discipline and degree. In general:
- Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Bachelor’s Degree holders with at least 75% marks or equivalent CGPA and proven research capability may also apply in some disciplines.
- 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Industry/Working Professionals require relevant experience (minimum 5 years) and CGPA as per experience slab.

Selection Procedure
- Entrance Test: 90 minutes Computer Based Test (CBT) held at DTU Campus with 60 multiple choice questions (50% Research Methodology + 50% Subject Specific). Weightage: 70%.
- Interview/Viva Voce: Weightage 30%.
- Exemptions from Entrance Test: Available for candidates qualified in UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, DBT, ICMR, IARI-JRF, GATE, CEED, foreign nationals sponsored by ICCR/MHRD/MEA, DTU faculty, Industry Working Professionals, and as per other approved criteria.
- Candidates scoring 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in entrance test and interview are eligible for admission.

- Application Fee: Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable, online payment only)
